The beach at Saint-Marc is probably the most popular in the Saint Nazaire area because it was the location for Jacques Tati's 1953 film, "Mr Hulot's Holiday". Behind the beach, a statue of the film-maker watches over its fine sands. This beach has been accredited for its disabled access.
