Bus Services in La Loire

Agglobus runs a city centre bus service in Saumur which reaches out into the 32 wider suburban areas around the town.

Anjou Bus offers a good bus service in the Anjou region, reaching into Saumur and Cholet in the south and up as for as Châteaubriant in the north. There are different timetables for winter and summer.

There is no national bus network in France as the government are trying to encourage use of the TGV high speed trains. However there are some regional bus networks for shorter journeys.

Tan offers a regional bus, tram, boat and night bus service around the greater Nantes district. This excellent service all comes under one ticket so it's really easy to use.

STAO offers a network of regular buses in the wider Le Mans region. Its 14 lines offer a good suburban service. It has buses adapted for disabled access.
