This Royal Millésime vineyard is run by Mathias Levron and Régis Vincenot and produces appellation Saumur-Champigny wines from their 26 hectares of land. Producing some good quality still and sparkling whites as well as the classic red, this 19th century château is worth a visit.

The Château de Parnay was taken over in December 2006 by Mathias Levron and Regis Vincenot. They were able to use their experience gained in Château Princé, making significant efforts both in the vineyard (increase of leaf area, trellising, controlled yields ...) and the winery.

The vineyard of Château de Parnay consists of four areas of land, all located on a clay and limestone soil. The first three are located in an area commonly known as "the coast", a horseshoe area in the towns of Parnay and Souzay-Champigny. It takes its nickname from the immediate vicinity of the Loire (about 200 meters) that overlooks the top of its white stone cliff. The fourth is located the heights of Saumur in an area renowned for its earliness.
