Bouvet-Ladubay

In the Loire Valley, in the heart of the Saumur region, Bouvet Ladubay, producer of fine Brut de Loire wines, welcomes you in its 8 kilometers of cellars dug into the local 'Tuffeau" stone.

Patrice Monmousseau, the third generation of Monmousseau Family took over the reins of the Company from his father in 1972. The wines of Bouvet-Ladubay have received over 500 medals and awards, thereby confirming the quality of our cuvées.

Open 7 days a week, all year round, you can come and visit the cellars, taste their wines and discover the 'Méthode Traditionnelle' sparkling wine making process. It is even possible to take a cycling tour around the cellars as they are so large.

From June 1^st to September 30^th:

• Monday to Friday from 08:30am to 19:00
• Saturday from 09:00am to 19:00
• Sunday from 09:30am to 19:00
• Last visit at 18:00

From October 1^st to May 31^st:

• Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 12:30 and from 14:00 to 18:00
• Weekend and holidays from 10:00 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 18:00
• Last visit at 17:00

On December 24^th : from 08:30 to 16:00
On December 31^st : from 08:30 to 16:00

Guided tour price

• 2€ per adult
• 1€ per child (14-18 years old)
• 1€ per person for groups of 12 or more

*Up to groups of 400 who will be shown round in groups of 50 (by reservation only).

Bycicle guided tour ("Anjou Vintage" bike lended by us)

• 4€ per adult
• 2€ per child (14-18 years old)
• On booking only, maximum 8 people

For security purposes, children under 14 are not accepted on cycling tours ( including behind their parents or with their own bike).

Length of visit

• Classic tour : 40 minutes in caves and 20 minutes of tasting
• The visit is 100% accessible to people with reduced mobility on a one-kilometer-distance.
• Bycicle tour : 1 hour in caves and 20 minutes of tasting
• The duration of the tour may vary depending on the number of visitors.
